Ultrasonic Welding Machine

| February 10, 2016

Rinco PackagingUltrasonic technology is becoming ever more popular in the field of packaging. The widest variety of containers, such as tubes, bottles, bags, blister packs and so on, are welded, punched, cut and sealed. For this technology, in contrast to many other welding technologies, it does not matter whether or not the contents are heat-sensitive. Ultrasonic welding is a very gentle procedure, whereby no heat is applied to the object and the tool remains cold during the process. It is also more environmentally friendly as no additives are required, and time-saving as the tool does not become dirty during the welding process. Thanks to this highly developed technology, processing speeds and quality have increased tremendously. Product build-up in the welding area is no longer a problem here, yet the seam is still of perfect quality.

With our machines and our expertise, you will achieve:

  • A high processing speed
  • A strong joint in spite of liquids, powder or solid foreign matter in the weld seam
  • Optimum product preservation, as even heat-sensitive foodstuffs, such as dairy products or chocolate, can be packaged with ease while the welding tool remains cold during the welding process.
  • A stronger welded joint than with heat-sealing
  • Narrower sealed seams and therefore also a material saving
  • Short process cycles
  • Consistent, durable and accurate welding results which can be reproduced
  • Absolute process and quality control by means of recording the parameters
  • A high degree of process reliability
  • Very short maintenance times
  • Immediate operational readiness

Automated welding:

  • Thanks to the modular construction, a manual workstation can be developed into an automation line or integrated in a special purpose machine at any time
  • Controlled and operated by the ultrasonic generator

The advantages of ultrasonic welding technology:

  • Economical, energy-saving, efficient
  • Environmentally friendly
  • No additional connection components

Our tools:

  • Customer-specific; calculated and simulated by FEM
  • Durable and low wear and tear
  • Available in selected materials
  • Quick to replace thanks to the quick-change system

Where is ultrasonic welding technology used?
